Stories of Survival & Recovery

Tell us your stories of surviving mental illness and the trauma that comes with it. Tell how you began your personal journey on the road to recovery. Give hope and heart to those that follow. Be a part of this exciting project.

The Florida Peer Network will collect stories from our members to be part of a book of personal stories of recovery. These are truly stories of survival and recovery. They will tell the tales of people who, because of their illnesses, lost their connections to family, friends, community and the joys of life, and then, despite all expectations found their way back. They are your stories.

Thirty people will be selected from around the state to be a part of the project. People who are selected will be paid $25 for their stories. If you are interested in participating call our toll free number at 877 352-7337 and leave a message telling us why you are calling, your name and telephone number. Someone will call you back to talk to you about your story. If you are selected, you will be contacted again a week later and a time will be set for your interview. If you prefer, you can submit your story in writing by sending it to:
